Advocates in Training

Global Safe House is a Non Profit Resource that supports all aspects of displaced individuals, including training attorneys at crisis borders, representing displaced individuals in immigration hearings, and working with organizations that provide support beyond legal issues. Beyond political and social group conflicts, our work includes gender based conflicts, including working with trafficking victims and the LGBTQ+ community globally.

10 years ago, we began a resource center for displaced persons, working with the transgender community, with women who were victims of female genitalia mutilation and Women who were victims of domestic violence abroad.

In 2016, everything changed. We expanded our work by familiarizing our advocates with credible fear interviews at the border, providing in person education seminars, drafting local policy recommendations and expanding our media outreach. Unlike most non-profits, our organization is self-funded, allowing autonomy over our mission goal to accomplish our objectives of ending our need for such a nonprofit.
